Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said: “Because of new evidence as a result of today’s interrogation, the people who were questioned by the police in the Empire case have now been released without charging and detectives have additional investigation work to be completed.”
Then, the police said: “The police are investigating whether the two men are carrying out the attack – or whether the attack occurs at all.” A source in Chicago PD revealed that they are now investigating the claim that Smollett has paid $ 3,500 to the attackers suspected of holding all incidents.
